GENERAL INFO::
Fishing Tournament
Fish at Centennial Lake. Participants can cast from the docks, shore or bring your own boat* and fish from anywhere.

2-4 year olds get random prize drawings / participation trophy. Awards given to first through third in 5-13yr old division and 14-up division. Cash prizes to the 14-up winners.

Awards to three largest fish in each category:

Bass
Bluegill
Catfish
Crappie
Trout

Day of Tournament Announcements will be made from the Concession Dock loud speaker and via 2-way radio.

If you own a 2-way FRS radio please bring it with you for tournament announcements such as ending time reminders, awards and random drawings.

We welcome donations from local businesses for random prize drawings and awards. For more information please contact Dawn Thomas at 410-313-4623.

Boat or shoreline anglers can fish for prizes in this catch-and-release event. Youth win trophies and are entered in a random prize drawing. Adults win cash prizes and trophies. Categories include bass, bluegill, crappie, trout and catfish. Maximum boat size is 16’ (electric motors only) with a minimum of two people per boat. Bring your own equipment...rod, tackle, bait and 5 gallon bucket.

All fishing equipment can be purchased from Dick's Sporting Goods or limited supply at the General Store at Centennial Park.

Live bait of Nightcrawlers (worms) can be purchased at the General Store at the concession dock the day of the tournament.

Anyone 16 years of age and older must have a Maryland State fishing license.

Purchase a MD State Fishing License from Dick's Sporting Goods. Please bring license with you on day of tournament.
